as i mentioned in my last journal [link] i was working on my halloween costume! to prove that it was worth spending the ENTIRE weekend inside.
on saturday i did amateur acupuncture on my fingers hand applying the lace on the bodice, which you can't really see the details of in this picture... oh well on sunday i did all of the underskirt, that took forever, cause i had to cut out the stripes and sew them on. then i had to gather the skirt, something i've never done before. then i had to put on the waistband, which was sort of a challenge. any way pretty happy with the result of the lace and the skirt, when i finish i'll be sure to post more pictures. and when that happens this is going into scraps. |
